Heidelberg Startup Partners
Heidelberg Startup Partners is an initiative of leading educational and research institutions as well as IHK Rhein-Neckar and the Heidelberg Technology Park. The aim is to support startup projects in the fields of the life sciences, biotech and other technological and knowledge-based sectors and to further enhance the attractiveness of Heidelberg as a location for startups.
Heidelberg Startup Partners offers startups and entrepreneurs advice on the implementation and funding of projects. Furthermore, Heidelberg Startup Partners promotes the Heidelberg startup scene through regular events such as networking meetings, business game and plan competitions as well as conferences devoted to specific subjects.

Startup Office of Heidelberg Startup Partners
The Startup Office of the Heidelberg Startup Partners is the operational arm of the initiative. Based on the premises of the Heidelberg Technology Park, an interdisciplinary team takes care of the needs of those startups receiving support as well as the activities of the Heidelberg Startup Partners.
Entrepreneurs' Center at the Heidelberg Technology Park
The Heidelberg Technology Park provides office space for the promotion of entrepreneurs. Prospective entrepreneuers can profit from networking with like-minded individuals and make use of personal advisory services.
The Heidelberg Technology Park supports not only traditional startups and spin-offs but also innovative concepts for cooperation between science and industry. The BioMedX Innovation Centre, a resident of the Heidelberg Technology Park, is an example of a promising new cooperation model. In a pioneering approach, interdisciplinary teams work on promising research projects After a period of two to four years, the findings are either integrated into the R&D activities of a pharma company or lead to the founding of an independent firm.
