Within the Heidelberg Technology Park exists a substantial network of contacts, offering members further possibilities to broaden their horizons on a political, business or scientific level. The Heidelberg Technology Park can support quick and effective growth by using the right connections, whether it concerns innovation culture, knowledge transfer or an international business exchange.

Dealing with legal and political institutions and ministries is as much a part of our work as building up an efficient communication culture with partner parks worldwide. The Technology Park works together closely with the Rhein-Neckar e.V. BioRegion on locally funded projects and public relations. Research institutions, universities, pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, town councils, chambers, organizations and further institutions, either working directly in the biotechnology field or supporting it, have come together to form a registered association, the Rhein-Neckar Triangle e.V. BioRegion.

The Rhein-Neckar-Triangle e.V. BioRegion promotes and integrates its members innovative ideas and services. The association has two main aims: firstly the realization of development programs in close cooperation with national and regional institutions and investors, and secondly, the creation of a renowned and vibrant biotechnology sector with outstanding opportunities for training, employment and research.

Today, Heidelberg Technology Park’s residents and associated members appreciate that many companies and research institutes at the Technology Park have developed and become very large indeed.
