Dear cycling and outdoor enthusiasts,
due to the positive response to our first Movie Night, we invite you to the 2nd edition on February 22nd from 6pm to enjoy the film Inspired to Ride in a relaxed atmosphere.
The documentary shows the Trans Am Bike Race. This annual race over a distance of 6,800 km runs from the Pacific coast in Astoria, Oregon, to the Atlantic coast in Yorktown, Virginia, and through ten US states.
Inspired to Ride is dedicated to the first edition in 2014 and focuses on the two winners, the now deceased Mike Hall and Juliana Buhring as the winner of the women's race. Other racers are also accompanied, including actor Brian Steele.
The Trans Am Bike Race is designed as a counterpart to events like the Tour de France and the Race Across America. There are no teams, no support vehicles, no special jerseys and not a single cent of prize money. Instead, the participants have to fight against lack of sleep, injuries and their competitors. Inspired to Ride takes the spectators on a journey amidst the breathtaking beauty of the TransAmerica Trail with its varied landscapes and exciting stories.
Be there and be inspired.
After the film there will be the opportunity to network with like-minded people.
We will provide drinks.
