On Friday, 1st of March 2019, 13:30 until Sunday, 3rd of March 2019, 12:30 the Industry & Innovation Day takes place at Alte Brauerei, Käfertaler Str. 162, in Mannheim.
The aim of the Industry & Innovation Day is to foster interaction between biomedical students, IMIM management and industry. The second year of the Industry & Innovation Day will start with powerful kickoff keynote speech focused on innovation in healthcare. During the second day, students’ will have the opportunity to join workshops tailored to improve their communication and networking skills. With the support of EIT Health, several contributors from small, medium-sized and large industries will be invited. During the Industry from the Inside session industry representatives will give short talks to provide a perspective on their work and company activities. The industry representatives will have a chance to discuss potential cooperation with IMIM and EIT Health, network with the students during the Poster Session and potentially recruit a talented student for an internship in their company. The last day of the event will be dedicated to Career Perspectives. During the interactive Round Table Session, students will be given insights on what it takes to develop successful career both inside and/or outside academic environment.
After a big success in 2018, we are excited to offer external master and PhD students the opportunity to join the Industry and Innovation Day 2019 again. Master and PhD students from the Health, Biotechnology or Life Science Sector interested in joining the Industry and Innovation Day 2019 are required to fill in a registration form.
The IMIM program and the and the Industry and Innovation Day supported by EIT Health are happy to invite industry representatives from biotech, biopharma and biomedical start-up companies interested in cooperating with IMIM during the Industry and Innovation Day 2019. You will have the opportunity to present your company, potentially recruit a talented student for an internship and explore the possibilities of contributing to the IMIM program.
