Our one-year accelerator program for startup projects in the life sciences consists of three components: Mentoring by experienced minds, seminars on key topics and networking with potential investors and partners. A program specifically tailored to the regulated markets for active ingredients, diagnostics and medical devices. Entry is possible three times a year.

Through an alliance of numerous university and educational institutions throughout Baden-Württemberg, we help to build viable companies in an individualized program from scientific ideas. Access to technology and entrepreneurial expertise helps founders to bring excellent science into practice.
The AI Garage is a program of the Baden-Württemberg Stiftung. The program is implemented by the Heidelberg Technology Park in cooperation with the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), the University of Heidelberg and the University of Mannheim.

The startup support office at Heidelberg Technology Park and Heidelberg Startup Partners e.V. offer access to a wide range of financing options. Depending on the startup phase, business model and capital requirements, we support founders in their search for a suitable form of funding.
Fördermittel in der Gründungsphase
Land, Bund und Europäische Union haben in den vergangenen Jahren verschiedenste Förderinstrumente entwickelt, um wissenschaftliche und technologische Projekte auf dem Weg aus dem Labor in die Startupwelt zu unterstützen. Wir helfen Ihnen, passende Programme zu finden und geben Ihnen Tipps und Feedback zu Ihren Anträgen.
Fördermittel für junge Unternehmen
Auch nach der Unternehmensgründung gibt es für verschiedenste Themen öffentliche Unterstützungsmaßnahmen. Early-Stage Financing for Innovative Start-up Projects
In the early stages of founding, institutional investors usually act cautiously. To provide innovative start-up projects with initial funding, the Start-up BW Pre-Seed program was established. Technologiepark Heidelberg is an accredited support partner of Start-up BW Pre-Seed, authorized by the state of Baden-Württemberg. We assess whether the start-up project is suitable for early-stage financing and assist in the application process.
