With three startups among the eight newly selected companies in the Start-up BW Pre-Seed program, it’s clear: Heidelberg is emerging as a key hub for innovation and entrepreneurship.
Big congratulations to:
kausable GmbH i.G. – developing adaptive AI models that detect causal relationships and make data-driven decisions
Mind Generation GmbH – offering an app to support adolescents dealing with anorexia and bulimia
Powered Orthotics – building soft robotic orthoses to help patients with hand paralysis regain movement
These startups reflect the diversity of ideas and impact – from health tech to AI and robotics.
With up to €200,000 in funding, these young ventures gain crucial support during their early stages. This is made possible by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Tourism Baden-Württemberg and the L-Bank.
Known for its science and excellence, Heidelberg is now making waves in the startup scene. We're excited to see what innovations will come next “Made in Heidelberg”!
As Technologiepark Heidelberg, we are proud to have supported and guided these startups on their path to success. We look forward to seeing them thrive!
