Heidelberg, August 1, 2025 – The Heidelberg Technology Park is pleased to welcome Cytion as a new tenant in LAB22. Starting August 1, 2025, the company will relocate its headquarters as well as its laboratory and production facilities to the modern research building of the Heidelberg Technology Park in the Heidelberg Innovation Park (hip).
“With the move of Cytion, a brand of CLS Cell Lines Service GmbH, into our LAB22, the Heidelberg Technology Park has gained another biotech tenant for the Heidelberg Innovation Park. The company has the opportunity to implement its growth plans at this location – both in terms of personnel and production. The available space and the concept of the Heidelberg Technology Park are an excellent fit for CLS’s objectives, and we are excited to provide the conditions necessary to support this growth,” says Moritz Schindler, project manager of the Heidelberg Technology Park, who has supported and guided the process from the beginning.
Previously based in Eppelheim, Cytion has moved into the ground floor of the second construction phase of LAB22 and will be located next to BioLabs Heidelberg, which opened in 2023, and IHO GmbH, which moved into LAB22 in March this year.
With Cytion joining, the number of companies in LAB22 specializing in biomedical innovations and cell technology continues to grow. The building offers state-of-the-art laboratory and office spaces with optimal infrastructure for research-driven business development. Situated in the heart of one of Europe’s leading science campuses, the location fosters exchange, collaboration, and growth.
