We, the Heidelberg Startup Partners e.V., are convinced of the efficiency of the Heidelberg location in the field of science and economy. By providing adequate and professional support, we support inventors and founders from the scientific community in the development and implementation of their ideas. For this we bundle the strengths of the members represented in the association. As an attractive contact partner, we maintain contact with the various stakeholders. Our goal is to ensure the long-term success of the foundations. To this end, we also promote the development of interdisciplinary teams in which all the necessary competencies are represented and help to acquire the necessary funds. This commitment should enable competitive spin-offs with commercially successful products and services. Entrepreneurial value creation should go hand in hand with the creation of high-quality jobs in the region.
Heidelberg Startup Partners e.V. is a joint initiative of Heidelberg's research, education and business development institutions. Its members are the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ), EMBL Enterprise Management Technology Transfer GmbH, IHK Rhein-Neckar, Innovation Lab GmbH, Pädagogische Hochschule Heidelberg, SRH Hochschule, Technologiepark Heidelberg GmbH, technology transfer heidelberg GmbH (commercial arm of Heidelberg Hospital and Heidelberg Medical Faculty) and the University of Heidelberg.
The aim of the association is to promote business start-ups in technology and knowledge-based fields in the greater Heidelberg area. For this purpose, the Heidelberg Startup Partners e.V. maintains a start-up office that acts as a central contact point for people interested in setting up a business and founders from the participating institutions. In the start-up office, an inter-institutional and interdisciplinary team is entrusted with the supervision of start-up projects and teams. The offer covers a multiplicity of meetings, support programs as well as individual consultation. The care of expert and investor networks is further activity emphasis of the founder office.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a full-time, permanent technical assistant or laboratory technician (BTA/CTA/PTA) with experience in cell culture from 01.08.2025.
Your tasks
- Production of cell lines and related products
- Support in the execution of service orders on behalf of customers
- General laboratory tasks
What you bring with you
- Training as a technical assistant / laboratory technician (BTA/CTA/PTA) (m/f/d) or a related degree is desirable
- You work independently and are characterized by a detailed working method
