"In order to help founders identify the support services that are most relevant and appropriate for them, we have transformed the website www.startupbw.de from a campaign page into a platform for information and communication," explained Dr. Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut, Minister of Economy, Labor, and Tourism.
Baden-Württemberg supports founders and startups with a comprehensive range of promotional offers, helping them transition from business idea to independent enterprise. These offerings have been consistently expanded and enhanced by the state government over the years. The funding programs cater to different target groups at different stages of development, covering the entire life cycle from pre-founding, through growth, to internationalization.
All startup-related activities of the state are now reflected on www.startupbw.de, all under the banner of "The Start-up LÄND". "With this, we are contributing to better communicating the wide array of promotional offers and establishing contact opportunities between founders and the numerous players in the regional startup and founding promotion scene," emphasized the Minister at the website's launch.
Apart from general information about THE Start-up LÄND and its regional startup ecosystems, the website offers details on consultancy services, financing, incentives, Start-up BW accelerators, competitions, and numerous events throughout the state. Additionally, current news, testimonials, and founding stories from entrepreneurs all over Baden-Württemberg are showcased. The focus topics address current themes and sectors that are at the forefront of startup support.
