As every year, we are refraining from printing and sending our Christmas cards in the interest of climate protection and resource conservation. Instead, we donate the amount to a good cause. This year, we have decided to donate to Frauen helfen Frauen e.V. Heidelberg to support their great and valuable work for our society.
The association Frauen helfen Frauen e.V. is a key figure in the social fabric of Heidelberg. For 40 years, it has been dedicated to supporting and advising women affected by violence. The association not only offers a safe haven in the form of sheltered apartments, but it is also an important contact point for psychological counseling, legal support, and assistance with integration into the job market. One in four women experiences violence in partnerships, and through this comprehensive care, Frauen helfen Frauen e.V. significantly contributes to the empowerment of women and plays a central role in promoting gender equality and empowerment.
A warm thank you to K. Oesterle and N. Pforr from Frauen helfen Frauen e.V. Heidelberg, who welcomed team members Julia Niederbuehl, Cansu Cak, Melissa Jung, and Clara Jassoy from Technologiepark Heidelberg GmbH and showcased the valuable work of the association, which is important not only for Heidelberg but for our society.
