The year 2023 once again marks a milestone in connecting life science investors, founding projects, and startups from all over the world. And what better location than the Greater Heidelberg Region - one of Europe's most significant medical hubs!
The core mission of this event is to establish a thriving ecosystem for life science startups. It's about building bridges - from the technology transfer phase to the financing of clinical trials. The Life Science Investors' Day promotes an ongoing dialogue between investors and founders to recognize opportunities early on and collectively realize their potential.
A special highlight is the BWCAD2 Pitches, which in 2023 found their place at the Life Science Investors' Day in Heidelberg. The aim of this project is to assist basic researchers in the field of drug development on their journey towards successful translation or spin-off.
September 28, 2023, was full of energy and inspiration! With a packed agenda of pitches and networking, the day provided ample opportunities for interaction among life science investors, startups, and the innovative ecosystem of the Heidelberg region. We had the pleasure of welcoming 25 innovative startups and 50 life science investors. Heidelberg showcased itself in its finest light with radiant sunshine.
