More measures to support start-ups and medium-sized companies

The state government supports start-ups and medium-sized companies in Baden-Württemberg with a new set of measures in the corona crisis. The federal government's bridging aid is being supplemented, public equity capital is being mobilised, and crisis consulting and further training is being expanded.

The state cabinet has approved a new set of measures to support start-ups and medium-sized companies in the Corona crisis. Among other things, the government is investing in a new venture capital fund and is increasing subsidies for the already ongoing and much sought-after Corona crisis consulting vouchers for companies and for the promotion of further training courses. The Budget Commission has also made additional funds available for important aid. These are a 50 million euro participation programme for smaller companies and an extended edition of the successful digitisation premium, for which 50 million euro will also be provided.
