The application phase for the Innovation Award of the BioRegions of Germany has begun!
The Innovation Award of the German BioRegions honors innovative patents from modern biotechnology and life science research, including medical technology. For 14 years, the prize has successfully supported scientists in making their patented ideas visible and subsequently turning them into marketable products and founding their own companies.
Patent holders and applicants from university and non-university research institutions in Germany are invited to apply. The patents must concern modern biotechnology or medical technology related to biotechnology. Inventions with high transfer and innovation potential are of particular interest in the application.
The six best applications will be invited to present their research project to an international audience of experts and potential investors at the German Biotechnology Days 2021 in Stuttgart. The three best applications will win the Innovation Award of the German BioRegions 2021. As the winner, you will receive one of the three prizes endowed with € 2,000 each and benefit from media attention and coverage in the specialist media. In addition, an audience award in the amount of € 2,000 will be presented.
