This summer, university graduates from all over Baden-Württemberg were invited to submit their theses for the years 2020/2021 in the field of artificial intelligence to the KI-Garage. A jury has now selected two of the best works from all the qualified entries and divided the prize money of 1000 euros between the two graduates.
The winners are:
Lucas-Raphael Müller with his master thesis at the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL) and the University of Heidelberg: „DeepSMLM - High Density 3d Single-Molecule Localisation Microscopy with Convolutional Neural Networks“
Laurenz Reichardt with his master thesis in Mechatronics at the Mannheim University of Applied Sciences: „AI-based Fusion of Camera and LiDAR Data“
Both will receive a certificate from KI-Garage, an offer to participate in the KI-Garage Network Accelerator and a cash prize of 500 euros.
Congratulations to both winners for their great work!
